I have recieved alot of complaints that the flaming has gottin out of had here again, and have been asked to please come back, so I am here and I plan on putting a stop to the BS as much as I can. So if someone thinks a am being more of a dick than norm, well then you know why!

I will allow this thread to stay open as long as we can have a nice debate without it turning into some flame battle!

That trips me out..not very much flaming goes on anymore, if any..and if any does go on, it's mutual, nothing offensive. The only time we say offensive remarks is if they're either a: neccessary and other ops don't object or, b: admins or ops do it so we follow suit=P

Xetox, the president can not send troops for a war if he doesn't have the backing of Congress. Plain and simple. Although he has tried to usurp that power listed in the constitution. He's trying to rewrite the constitution so it better suits him. He's trampling all over the ideals that so many men and women have bled and died for before him.

As for the idiot who said we put Bush into office. 48% of America voted for him, 52% voted for Gore. I grant you, Gore wouldn't have been much better, but whatever happened to government by the people, for the people and of the people?

We've got so many problems in our own country that we need to fix it before we try to go shove our horribly flawed republic system on any other country.

Reckless...theres a thing called an 'Electoral College'. They decide who's president, not us.

So really, we didn't put Bush into office, they did.

'They' as you put it are the represenatives from your state, that YOU elect. So in the end, yes we put him in power.

And who really gives a flying fuck if congress has to declare war.. They are backing Bush right now, so it doesn't really make any difference.
