WorldGroup Manager is the Graphical interface for all the telnet admin commands... its convient to use for some of us who are just learning (Namely me). Apparently it was not updated to work under windows XP because everyone i know thats running a board under XP has the same problem no matter how you set your compatability.

shrug, learning the way everyone else did shouldn't be too hard. The remote sysop menu is easy to work with.

in my experience wgman and wg dont work on the same machine, I'm not sure if theres something behind this or what not cos ive never had a second machine to try it on... till now, ill give it a shot and try it out for you.

if your going to make a second machine a mud machine winxp is da bomb for doing the networking, handles everything supurbly and i can still access my xbox.

I'm going to go out on an limb here and say those aren't WG related. You can't create the swap file. Check your hard drive space, then check your attributes on files. I've downloaded programs that were read-only before. Run a quick attrib -rh *.* in your WG directory, and try again. This probably won't help, but it just might.

You need a patch to be able to use WGman under XP Pro.

The patch is from Microsoft and include a application that will

give u the possibility to emulate old hardwares interrupt request with also a best communication with the "old programs" programmed in "old language"...

Great thanks, but there is no "Apply" button on it, so you have to redo all that stuff everytime you want to load up the program? That kinda sucks =P
