So, she didnt have the choice to leave him and not come back? She had the choice of not being there. Obviously if she had time to light a fire she had time to leave. Some woman stay with abusive men cause they have nowhere to go, or noone to turn to for help. She had lots of money lots of friends she had no reason to stay and be abused. You dont teach a younger generation right by doing something wrong. period. There's other way's to handle those situations. If someone slaps your kid you gonna tell him/her to go burn down their house? If your daughter's boyfriend cheats on her you gonna tell her to blow up his car? That's wrong, and I don't know how you can sit there and make her seem like she did the right thing. Being abused is a shitty thing to go through, and being cheated on sucks hardcore, but you can't justify an immoral act by another immoral act.

Miss Thang - to say she "had her reasons" to burn down a house just sounds absurd. If he was beating her, she could have taken him to court, and basically ended his life. He would have been put in jail.

I agree that burning down his house wasn't the answer. The first time he laid a hand on her she should have turned around and beat the shit out of him.. well, that's what I would do anyways.
