Hi, me again. :-)
Due to user input we made some changes to the new classes:
Barbarians now wear chainmail.
Battlemages wear scalemail.
Generally aren't Barbarians a nasty evil class that wear platemail?
Battlemages are also generally a platemail class, with the minor ability to use mage spells.
From what I have seen on Purgatory, is it's pretty much like every other board out there. Hardly anyone alive, and everyone on script, and it seems you all dont like to help "those new to your board"
But I tend to agree with the ops in here, if you dont like Purgatory, then dont play.
There are a ton of different boards out there.

For not wanting to play on this board, you guys are sure making a large deal out of a small thing.
Props Amber and Lodin, you have designed a very friendly board, I have caught many peeps live who have been quite helpful. Thanks for paying heed to my suggestions and bearing with me through Boink's offline time.
Grab me on AIM so we can begin discussing business ;)

Hi,
Come on can't we all just get along? :-)
As far as not helping new players, just what do you want? I have nothing, I am broke, I am thinking about getting a tin-cup and a will work for food sign and sitting in Town Square! :-) I don't know how to convince anybody, we don't have super maxed out characters, super maxed out banks, or super maxed out armour. We are just playing like everyone else. If you really need the 60 some plat I have in the bank then you are welcome to it. :-) Do you honestly think I would be #22 on my own bbs if I edited me? Come on! :-) The highest op is 5th or 6th, I don't remember without looking. I personally like the "thrill" of having to fight for every level, of dying and searching out my dp (ok maybe not really) of searching for every copper I can find to buy a spell...thats the game.
I'm not going to cut down anybody elses games, because I love the different edited boards, but if you want a game where monsters are 10x exp, ops have unlimited cash to hand out, instant kill weapons, then we are not the place for you. Sorry. I really do hope you find what you are looking for.
And if you see me in Town Square toss me a copper or two! :-)
Amber
Raiden, looked for you on AIM. We are all set. I'm going to send you our phone # and maybe we can get going because I really miss Boink! :-)

I think initiating changes without any warning to a class like that is unresponsible. Should at least make any class changes well known, since those directly affect players.
Should also make it known class changes are being given out, if you plan to give them out.

You are WRONG once again. sigh
I have been helped on Purg.
And why bash Purg when the one you pormote multiple times (with the wrong addy LOL ) is one where you can get level 50 in one day and NO one is ever live there either. Where completing a quest is just one of a few rooms away from halls?
Seems the ops from White Dragon are ALWAYS in here bashing another board. And yes, what you typed WAS a bash.
You might want to fix what is wrong and has been and still is wrong on your board before bashing others. Like fixing the armour in the shop above the general store. The site still shows all can wear it yet no one can. LOL
Atleast on Purg, when a low level goes to say the unholy shop there isn't some high level mob there to kill you in one hit. :)
If you spent half as mush time fixing the board you and the owner keeps promoting (with the wrong addy) as you do bashing other boards you might just have a decent board and you wouldn't have time to spend bashing other boards.

I wasn't bashing, I was making an observation, from my experience.

How about stop bringing up WhiteDragon out side of WhiteDragon's post, the one thing that seems to be a thorn in your fat ass everytime someone makes a comment.
Furrene if you haven't noticed, this is Purgatory's posting area, NOT WhiteDragon's

Post your complaints where they can be addressed, I'm not goig to respond to your complains about another board here.

How about you grow up, and act like an adult, instead of a spoiled child.

How about spelling my name right. Please show where I have bashed a board in the last few weeks.

How am I making a big deal out of anything, I was making an observation.
Christ how lame are you people, that you cannot tell the difference between and observation, and a bash.
If you can't tell the distinction, a bash usually involves swearing, and other nasty words.
An observation, is the way I had worded it, from my perspective, I assumed I was being polite about my observation as to no offend anyone.
But being that your all too narrowminded to notice an observation, remember I (Pantharen) got banned from MMB about 3 months ago for bashing, so I think I am a really good judge on the matter.
And not wanting to upset the balance of things, my post wasn't in anyway intended to be offensive.
So if my post was percieved as a threat, or a bash, I appologize for it being perceived as such.

My apologies Panth... I took your posting in the wrong way.
Thanks for clearing it up.
