the v1.01 installer i made (http://www.mudinfo.net) has an option to leave your old files there. however, if you don't remove the old files you could end up with a lot of duplicate rooms and such. to get the old file back; uninstall megamud, delete the program directory, and reinstall it. then install winterhawks paths and choose not to delete the files.
p.s. i think you are the first person to complain about the paths in the 1,588 downloads. they aren't perfect, but they are 100x better then the default ones.
No offence Syntax, but the installer is a joke, I never got the POS to work at all. It always handed me one error after another. I wish I hadn't ever installed Winterhawks "new paths" because they royally screwed everything. Including deleting all my custom paths & loops which royally pissed me off. and doing a reinstall is a pain in the ass, and very time consuming.
And the hassle they create are a 100x worse than the minor annoyance that the default paths created.
