thanks, that's more like it.
dark/mango: you are first to die when i get back. =)
and maybe i didn't stress this point enough; perhaps this is mostly directed to Apathy who said "You specifically hunted him down in order to use the bug on him."
i didn't specifically hunt anyone down. i didn't go "out of my way" to do anything. i was in town and someone said 'come with me' and lead me somewhere, on the way i asked what we were doing, they said 'killing syntax'. i said 'are you going to party bug him?', they said 'yes'.
although i knew what was going on, my "mud conscience" only extends to people who've been nice to me and that i like. besides legolas, not a single person on the board helped me do anything, no matter how nicely i asked at the start (and how many times too). although i don't want to get into that. i'm just saying, it wasn't my idea, i didn't benefit from it, and you are directing your attacks at me only because you dont know who the other party(/ies) are. i definately deserve some of the blame. but not most of it..

i guess the hours and hours and hours of time i spend doing edits, testing, and 'sysoping' don't constitute as helping anyone? probably the main reason no one would help you is because of how arrogant you are in the game. ever hear of the saying, "do unto others as you would have them do unto you?"

The "You" in my post wasn't just you. It was the collective you. You all. You and Ray. Because as soon as you followed him and knew what was going on, you were no better than he.
An accessory to a crime is no less liable than the perpetrator. You said it yourself, you knew exactly what was going to happen. You knew the bug was going to be used. And you expressed knowledge of the bug by asking HIM if he was going to use it. So how are you not to blame? Yes, I understand Ray is "more" at fault than you. But he isn't the one here trying to defend himself. You are. And believe me, I think you're receiving more sympathy here than you realize.

Agreed.
To be honest, I dont think anyone on the board had a problem with you. We didnt distrust you or dislike you. You were just another player but this bug abusing really has made a lot of people not care if you get a 30 day suspension or even being banned. a few would rather see you banned and not because it was syn that you did it to but because we dont like that kinda mud playing. Now Im sure your not going to care what any of us say but whatever respect you had on the board is lost.
I cant speak for everyone on the board but dont be surprised if your not invited to do quests or get some help.
