that's only because warhawk is still getting things going. once he has it finished it will surpass turbo's bar far. the only reason trubo's is better right now is because of the categorization. which i'm sure warhawk will be working on once he has all of the sections working.

no one is hitting it every day.... I am the only one that has made the hit counter jump... It is challenging yes... but when support from the community that it is being created for is lost... and its not being used.... why continue work on it. It takes up one hell of a lot of my time (And I know nightmare takes up alot of your time too Syntax but at least people are using it)

warhawk: you're looking into this too deep man. think about mmb for a second. there are probably only 20 people that post here regularly. since your counter goes by IP (im guessing) and probably only jumps after a certain period of time since a specific IP has accessed it (guessing again), then your 411 hits isn't too bad. especially considering it's just getting started. there are only a few sites out there that provide the information you're working on. and really, turbo's is the only competition.



i'd say to actually take my name and your reference to NMR off of every page and maybe just stick it in a link section. i think people from the general mud population (ie. mudcentral forums) have bad attitudes towards NMR as they think it's illegal and it may stray some of them away.



i think when you're done your database collection will far surpass turbo's and then you'll start seeing the traffic.

If you aren't doing a project solely for yourself and the sense of accomplishment, then you are wasting your time. I dislike people who just look for attention and continue to bitch and moan about "Nobody likes my stuff", "I'm wasting my time", yadda yadda. God, you sound like someone just killed your dog. Get over it and continue on with your project. This isn't some life-changing event, you are writing a program. Do you think the people that wrote the game Crossroads for MBBS bitched and moaned when nobody played their game? No, because they made it because they wanted to and nobody can change their opinion about their own game. I will use the database, when it's finished. Until then, quit whining and keep it up.

When it's finished, it might actually grow more popular. You never know til you try. Keep in mind this is a fickle collection of people and with just the group here you aren't gonna get a lot of hits, you need to advertise it to the other side (prepares to be smited by Aragon).



As for the other side thinking NMR is illegal. That's why so many are turning to it now eh? If metro could program a hello world properly there wouldn't be a need for good programmers like you.



That's why I suggested an inventory calculator Warhawk, it'd get it's uses from the lazy people or the people that have never played a certain class to figure out what they should be wearing, wielding, etc. Don't quit just cuz people aren't responding and remember you're still completing it.

Well, ya gotta think, July is summer. Theres more kids with their free time to play mud and check out MMB. December's only a third done, so we may hit the most in the past 6 months in December. September/october is when school starts and kids don't have much time. Those stats look pretty good. That's a lot of damn hits.

I will continue work on it... and finish it... See now I am getting feedback... :P something that is needed in a project like this.... just because 'I' think its easy to use... doesn't mean YOU think its easy to use... its easier to fix it NOW than it is 5 months from now....



I will work on a Links page for those of you that want links... MMB and NMR will be on there for sure...



Furthermore... Xetox, This viewer will work with any and all dats... regardless if they are mine or not... I needed some dats so I took mine... and mine are ALL messed up... if someone could find me un-edited dats that are 100% working and clean, I will replace that... I am ALSO working on a USER SIDE of it... that will allow the user to specify what kind of color they want the headings to be, what exp times they are playing with... all of which will be user specified...



This project is big... and I need the support from you guys.



NMR is for an ELITE group of individuals... (and I love it)

The Viewer is for everyone!
