We've had a kit of that stuff in the garage for a few years and haven't used it yet.

Well now, It's been quite a long time since i've posted anything on the Corvair.

Reasons being, i haven't worked on the ride in a few months.

I'm waiting for the funds to be there to order a new set of carbs.

I started the hoopty up today and had oil and gas spewing up out of the breather like a volcano erupting. I instantly shut the bitch off and wanted to kick the car in the nuts, but held off.... lol.

I can't wait to get proper carbs on this thing, but i am really in no hurry.

I've been contemplating towing the car over to my grandmothers house a few towns away. She has a shop out there where my dad's jeep sits. I can put it there until i can afford to put money into it.

Also, it'll be out of the rain and weather there.

Just thought i'd let everyone know that i haven't sold the car and it hasn't been beaten with a bat... Yet.

so i'm still debating what i should do with the corvair for the winter.

I "could" put the money needed into it to get it running and drive it around for a month or so untill it's really cold and then store it for the winter.

Or i could just have it trailered over to the storage spot and worry about it next spring...... I'd like to be able to drive it out of storage next spring though.

Any input or advice from anyone...... assuming that people scroll down this far .

Save up your cash over the winter, and have those funds available to really get into the project come spring.

If you have the heater fixxed i would drive it this winter. Covairs handle nice. The only real problem was heat for the cabin. Good mileage. Nice looking. win win.
