Ok I have been on the server and have noticed some minor bugs but nothing to huge. Such as having skills before you should and etc...
But anyways my computer just died and Im rebooting it now and going to do a network install so it goes faster. I'm hoping to be back on by late tonight.

Many of these will not be able to be fixed so you will have to deal with them. I will list the bugs in the order I find them.
When you make your character it will stay at the Character Creation screen unless you press cancel and then press back and you character will have been created.
Unlike the legit servers many skills particulary the ones dealing with your class (majorly) such as Tame Beast which is normally gotten by a series of quests is given to you right at the start. This is true for the hunter I will check the other classes soon and find if it is also true for them.
This bug was in the game for about 15 minutes before being dealt with. Every "talk" command was duplicated. So it was an extremely annoying one and figured Id post it here. FIXED
When trying to drop something in a bag you coud normally just drag and drop over the bag BUT not here, you must first open the bag and drop on one of the slots.
It would seem for now you cannot have a friends list BUT this could only be for GMs since thats all that have been able to test this function yet.
When talking to a quest giver it makes you click twice on them.
This is all I have yet to notice BUT please remember this is the first day someone besides the host has been on. So testing it all is my job along with you guys.
Im making these bug reports so that you understand them better. I hope itll help at least some.
If you discover something I havent please make me aware of it so I can further research it and post it here.
Well this is the first report of many to come so please understand that they will become more organized as time progresses.

Besides it crashing on me every 10-20 minutes where I loose connection its not too bad. Ive noticed so far one quest I cant finish on the warrior side for night elves. I cant deliver the herbs to the Innkeeper.
If we can get the connection issue fixed that would be cool. I dont know if its only me though.

Im gonna test some stuff on my end regarding the connection to see if its just me.
As for the quests im not too concerned about it. I know this wont be out of blizzard perfect and never expected it to be. As long as it doesnt prevent me from moving forward I wont be concerned.

I think your wrong about the "blizzard perfect", remember the times when we had to sit in front of it waiting to log in but was stuck at "Connecting"?
I sure do lol......
I was there when I would sit there for 30 min for char list to load that was hell.....

Yea, I can confirm this on my side too. Im not sure what is causing this maybe the server kicks us if our latency goes to high? Im not to sure myself but it definitely happened multiple times to me.

I got disconnected, but wasn't on long enough to see if it happened again.
As far as possible bugs, the pet's are all whacky, as was stated earlier. I think regen is messed up too, seeing how my druid was getting 1mana/tick when sitting. Also, during combat, I got a combat point on a mob. That's all well and good, but I don't ahve cat form yet, and no spells/skills/attacks that should award me a CP. Also, on one of the early quests(tauren), I needed to grab a water bottle and bring it back to the chief. It took a second to find, though, because the jugs weren't on the base of the well, but rather "inside" the clipping for it. Saw a tiny little edge sticking out is all.
More to come, I'm sure. Ahhhh, beta...
Off the wall question, but are there any privately released server patches? Maybe someone fixed some of the more basic functions, so we can concentrate on other stuff. IIRC, the server program itself isn't under-dev anymore, but I didn't do to much delving into it.
Well, off to the dentist. /wave newcar :(

I also started getting disconnected constantly. It might have a problem with running on a 64BIT system. I'll move it to my other server and see if that helps.

I've scoured the internet for hours searching for information on emulated WoW servers. Basically I've come to two conclusions:
1) Blizzard really really doesn't like them
2) The general concensus between those who have set up and/or played extensively on an emulated server is that it sucks. There are too many bugs and not enough rewards. Raiding is impossible due to lack of players. Very important quests and instances are unavailable due to bugs that prevent character progression in certain areas.
Has anyone ever spoken to someone who plays full time on one of these servers and has a good time doing it?
