I really don't have much to say. But every assumption and conclusion you have all come to is incorrect. Astaroth knows what happened, and he wont comment. So you all go ahead and form opinions for yourself.. I agree, I worked with Astaroth to make the realm better because I have very little time to work on edits these days... It's probably better that he runs it now, so all the ignorant people can get a chance to realize how good of a realm I built. Regardless, I built the damn thing, Astaroth made it better. You guys enjoy it.

We all know that you couldn't hack it... the fact that you bashed on so many other people and their own creations. Everyone is different and you my friend got shat on and couldn't handle it. I'm not sorry that the only way you can get your self esteem up is by barking orders to other people like Astaroth to do your edits or express the fact that you have no life and can COPY edits.(http://forumshq.com/showthread.php?t=6825&highlight=Boink%20Machine).



All I can say is if it wasn't for Donut, Locke Cole, Mr.Black and Syntax (in no particular order)... none of you would even have a CLUE as to were to start editing. And furthermore, your edits suck... I have a feeling Astaroth took it over so he could fix all of your mistakes and try to bring the board back out of the shithole it was in from your earlier postings. I'm not here to flaunt that one board is better than the other... every board is equal and has its equal amount of players. But its absofuckinglutely wrong for someone to come onto a public forum and start bashing the shit out of other people's work to try and make your own stand out. Anyone can edit MajorMud with the help of Nightmare Redux, but very few spend the time to fill in the details or bother with fixing shit.

So I've obviously been out of the loop here for a long time. I hadn't read all the posts about MudRevo in the past. heh. Jebus.



Anyway. The board is up, under new management, and seems to be running well enough.



Everyone is welcome to come play and enjoy the edits. Demosthenes (Astaroth) is working on editing the realm so that it is barely recognizable as "MajorMUD"... and I'm working on keeping him from crashing it 5 times a day. ;) But atleast the edits go in fast.



To all who play: Enjoy. The board is up for you guys. I sure as hell don't get anything for running it beyond people complaining to me daily. :)



To those who don't: I hope your reason is better than 'I don't like Drago.' ... and if it's not.. well, I'm still sorry you don't play here.

Actually my intentions were to do exactly what Astaroth took over doing.. Unfortunetly after 'copying' over 15,000 rooms and making the game more expansive than any realm EVER, I had this little thing happened called... REAL LIFE.. I dont have countless hours to sit and edit, nor put detail into it as I wished..Unlike most of you, here, on this 'public forum' ... As far as bashing other BBS's to make mine stand out.. Dont kid yourself, majority of all other BBS's are crap, and its no big secret. Why do you think MudRev stuck around for so long, and will continue to do so? Because its a shitty? I Dont think so.



Cute little smileys there Ast.. I gave you power, I put you where you are today.. Sure you do great work, but let's not forget who fucked this up, and the reasons that I gave it up.. K bud? Enjoy what I gave you.. And don't give me this "I Coulda done it on my own" Crap.. because I'd like to see it..



Funny thing is, NO-ONE really knows what happened.. But no reason to make excuses, you guys can all go fuk yourselves... I don't care about popularity, All I ever wanted to do was make the best MajorMUD ever, and I havent seen anything better and I Doubt I ever will..

i don't think anyone's argued you added a lot to make mudrev, and the game was wonderful, as i've told you before. you also screwed up a lot, and the game badly needed attention to detail and balancing. nothing against you: you made a huge mud that was fun to play and didn't have time to maintain it.



don't think for a minute, though, that because you added tons of gameplay by cutting and pasting loads of monsters, items, and rooms and then changing stats slightly, that you are somehow incredibly special or talented. it's a fucking monkey's job, dude. a thousand monkeys with typewriters, given a couple years, could probably reproduce mudrev fairly accurately.



props for doing what you've done in making a fun game, no props for being an asshole to anyone and everyone. i hope you enjoy the attention you're getting, cause as far as i can tell that's the only reason you continue to access the internet. everybody look at miles, he's having adult discussions!
