maybe on a QWERTY, but there are much more efficient keyboards than the QWERTY
I would really love to see you type on a dvorak; as there are only 2 types of keyboard, qwerty & dvorak.
And dvorak are slow and clumbsy; So for you to get 255 of a qwerty;

there are keyboards which are used for professional, fast typing, such as typing an oral lecture for a deaf student, or for closed captioning. this uses neither the dvorak or the qwerty. it has like 18 buttons (yes i know that's less than there are letters) and i've seen typing in excess of 300 WPM with them

That's stenography and you have to go to school to four years to learn the keyboard and shit. Those keyboards don't count, as they have legal terms and such or whatever business type you are in (medical or whatever) on them. Those are not just your regular keyboards. The point was that you didn't type that fast, period, regardless of the keyboard or who uses them.
