to put it simply, how do you define a god????

one who can create life? give life? and take life?

we can do that easily



sexual intercourse is creating new life from something, and that something is the chemistry built into our bodies, correct???



when we plant a tree from a seedling we are creating trees from something, are we not????



and even something as simple as a puppy or a kitten, we need a full grown dog or cat before we can make a smaller one, thus being that because we had the adult animals together we took part in creating a new life with the birth of a new animal that has become the offspring of the bigger animal such as the cat or dog....



wanna go more in depth? its simple to say that we might not be godly because we cant create storms and lightning bolts from out hands, or even make fire and any element into something that would be considered magic...



but see, if you put us creating power plants that make smoke to fuck up the ozone layer, then that makes the planet hotter thus creating a condensation from the ocean and making rain.... with rain comes thunder and lightning and even snow....



if you look at it from that point of view, some things of nature we do have a whole hella plenty control of, yet some things we cannot explain because it just happens

First, you get a lot of people who don't like to think for themselves, then you tell them that the big bad is going to reap their souls if they don't do what you want them to. God - A being conceived as the perfect, omnipotent, omniscient originator and ruler of the universe, the principal object of faith and worship in monotheistic religions.

or

Prince Galahad, what you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard. 1) they who act like tough shit usually aren't, else there would be no reason to put it out for everyone else to see.



2) Humans are not gods, as by definition it only takes one god to create anything or destroy anything (yes those go together, you can't just take one, and leave the other) and by planting a seedling we do NOT create the tree that comes of it, just like by watching 2 dogs f*ck, you don't create the puppy. As a human by definition you have flaws, and as by definition gods do not.



And those that think they have no flaws, certainly haven't looked at themselves close enough yet, though it shouldn't be that hard to see them knowing most of the ppl here.
