yeah they need hps, just saying gaunt is a decent class for a mage.

yea i reported that board cause i fucked up the op so he emaulated me (with mega on, the fucking idiot) to find where i scripted, then basically the sysop told me to fuck off and banned me. tell me what reason i had not to report it.



furthermore gaunts are excellent pvp chars for ranger and missionary especially, they make okay ninjas gypys and thieves too, because these characters usually script with a healer. as for mage, thats a BAD choice, not only you lose mad hp and hp regen (most mages script solo), stealth, and gain 3-4 mana regen. its not liek you need see hidden for mage pvp, and if you did, the quest cloak gives it at high levels.



id still go with halfling (or maybe hog or human ) thief ... halfling is pretty worthless cause 10 dodge wont do shit for a thief and the low strength is bad, and thieves just plain suck. so what the table is good, theyll still blow.

see the thing is all spells max out there damage based on levels, and spellcasting isnt an issue cause youc an get it from items and levels. so now you got a mage with crazy hp and casts there spells for same damage as any other race witht he same % of failure. only problem is there magic res, which is pretty bad. i mean iw ouldnt play a hog mage, but anything thief is worse

Ok, gaunts are OK of a class for some of those, but gaunts are generally not used over other classes such as dark-elves. Though you may think gaunts are better, the fact remains that dark-elves are used considerably more.
