Anyone who calls themselves elite is cocky. I don't see how you can disagree really. That's exacty what elite means. Above the rest, above the pitiful masses. Cocky is someone who thinks they are just that, whether they are or not.



Oh, and the way you put it, shouldn't be "Corner of the Moderators" or something? Oh, and another one... Paterra I think it is, has something in his sig about "Association of MajorMUD Professionals." This falls into pretty much the same category since I doubt he's making a living off of the game and earning the title professional that way. There's a lot of cockiness around here.

Unless Metro or someone else is trying to file a lawsuit, I don't think there's that much need for it. The forum is not new. Rules are long established, moderators long chosen. Regardless of all that, though... you're entirely missing the point (not surprisingly). The point is that there's a forum named "Corner of the Elites." Look up the word elite sometime.

That's okay by me. Think about it..didn't you say something to the effect of elite meaning above the rest? Well if you think about it - whether they know more than us about the game or not (which I know a few that don't, LOL..no offense=P), they are Mod's, so in all actuallity they are above us.



I wouldn't use the word "Elite" to describe it personally, but I'm not complaining that they do. And by that, I'm not in any way shape or form saying they're better than us, they're just "above" us here. I guess if you wanted to break every little word in the definition of "Elite" down to what it meant, you could contradict what I said..but to say "above the rest" doesn't make sense when they really are, here at least, above the rest.
