Level 9 dwarf paladin, standing just south of Kharanos, near the spirit healer.

all of a sudden, the monster tag appears for a snow leopard. I look around, no critter. Move myself back towrds center of kharanos. Hit the escape key, and the critter tag disappears. Reappears again, and I look around. no critter.

Then I see "DODGE" appear over my tag as though I had dodged an attack. Next, I start taking damage. no critter to see, nothing to target. at this point, I closed out of game.

Actually I've experienced that on legit servers before as well, happened to me in Thousand Needles even after I died it still said I was being attacked while in spirit form.

Ok, found out something about quests.

I did one quest and it worked perfectly. Wife went to do the same quest and it didn't work. she abandoned the quest and started over and it worked.

Apparently, she had some of the quest items in her inventory already when she accepted the quest (in this case, pieces of boar meat) She needed 4 for the quest, and had 2 already.

apparently, the quest saw she had 2 and started counting from there. but she needed to COLLECT 4, not HAVE 4.

Now, as for a request, can we cut back a bit on the world saves please? I realize they are to help prevent loss in the event of a server crash, but every ten minutes is a minor annoyance while running solo. However, when grouped with my wife, she died 2 times because she was following me. When the world save occured, she sees me continue running straight forward, and follows. I had stopped, and she ran into a critter like 5 levels above her solo.

Additionally, I've notice my latency bar often goes from GREEN to RED immediately following a world save, and doesn't go back. I also noticed a curious "floating effect" after a save a couple of times (character no longer walks, he sorta skiis around, and it won't let you loot any bodies either)

Think that about covers it for tonite. See you all in game!

I can see about cutting it back to maybe twice an hour and see how that works out. Your latency will definatly jump on world saves because I believe it halves all communication between the server and client, hence why you "float".

I get this dialog box whenever my character enters the world:

"Interface\FrameXML\PetActionBarFrame.lua: 177: attempt to perform arithmatic on a nil value"

I click ok and resume playing.

Try dismissing your pet before exiting the game.

Set "World Save" timer back to 30 minutes instead of 10 minutes originally set to. Also looking at getting some re-packs to try and bring us more up to date on our server version and hopefully resolve some issues.

Are we looking to increase the number of players in the game? I've got my brother and 2 very close friends that are interested in helping beta test. My brother plays on the Blizzard servers , and My friends are both active in Guildwars. As an added bonus, all three have beta tested before (My friends both beta tested add-ons for Guildwars, and Sims online, my brother beta tested for Something, I thiunk it might even have been Wow itself.)
