Well that's soon the route it will take if it keeps happening. Nito has been doing it to.



It seems whenever something doesn't go the way they want it to, they take advantage of that bug and crash the board so they can cause hell for everyone else.

Just 'letting it ride' is not a wise idea. If the board and users are going to have to suffer just because someone doesn't want to suspend/delete a character even though they are causing damage to the board and taking away valuable script time... PURPOSEFULLY... Then it shouldn't be up.



Luth, I'm sorry if I took what you told Dimebag the wrong way, but I'm not going to participate on a board where stuff like this is allowed to just 'float by'.

Is he worth all this trouble?

Just for the record dealing with a MUD BOARD is not and will never be a major concern for me. If it crashes I am not loosing any investment out of it. I have been extremly busy lately and just because Dimebag calls doesn't mean that I can rush to the console and fix whatever bug metro may have left in it or because a funky install. When I told Dimebag I was gonna let it ride, I was only saying that I had planned on reseting it anyway since I figured hopping in nightmare or manually hex editing wasn't going to resolve the issue. It is by no means I that I just blew off a crash as something that I don't care about it is a major concern when I have time to work on it. So I guess if you have choosen to leave thats your choice and I am sure the board will miss you, but I do my best with the time frame I have to work with. From what users tell me the bug has diminished or not in use. I really don't know who is behind the crashes if its moo, and he is stopped then it isn't an issue but if it were punishment would be delevered swiftly.
