How many posts have you seen that take 3 days just to understand what the hell is being asked?

I know this is just an internet forum, but if people are going to be asking serious stuff, they'll want their posts to be taken seriously.

I try not to read DragonDawns posts, because they're 99% unreadable. WarG0Ds might mispell words, but at least he tries to make himself understandable.

WarG0ds: suggestion, slow down, and use http://www.google.com or http://dictionary.reference.com/ to spell check. it takes a little longer.

Ok then I will re ask my question again?

Would it be possible to attach a text block to the class it self for the race class check. If it’s not allowed buy that class have an action that doesn’t stop until the class is rerolled?

I'm not 100% sure, but I dont think so. I think I read somewhere else that, that isn't completely possible.

BUT I could be mistaken, and Syntax will probably know for sure.

whoa, that was almost comprehensible, nice job! and no, it wouldn't, textblocks are exclusively executed by spells, npcs, or as room commands.

My limited understanding of text blocks is that, they determine interaction, and not race/classes. So from my understanding of how text blocks work, is that you cannot use text blocks to be used for anything pertaining to races & classes.

How ever I could be completly wrong, and it might be possible.

to do what exactly? they check a class and race and do what? you can't force them to reroll? you already had 3 very respected people tell you the only way it can be done.

well, i suppose you could have all the rooms in newhaven cast a roomspell which would execute a textblock to put invalid race/class combos into a 'limbo' room of sorts, which would have itself set as a death room. you could even have that room cast a spell to kill them every round, if you wanted... these are all half-assed messy solutions unfortunately, the game basically isn't designed to restrict class/race combos so anything you do is going to be a workaround. there are loads of ways it *can* be done is my point, you could (if you wanted to completely restructure your training situaton) restrict entrance to the trainers so only valid classes can enter, etc etc. but yes, the easiest and least messy way of all these messy ways is to not let them even get into newhaven unless they're a valid class/race combo. :p
