It was recommended on MIRC to use BitComet www.bitcomet.com so I downloaded it, and installed it, it's cool, it's fast, and it uses a taskbar icon (ABC doesn't)

But each to thier own, I had a dozen or so people on mIRC recommend BitComet, so I'll try it for a few days.

How bout this... Who cares as long as it downloads and we get a free cracked copy of Doom 3? I know I'm not a 3 year old, so I've developed this thing called patience whereby I can wait in case I have to. I think Doom 3 is worth the wait. Now Half Life 2... that one I'll run out and buy...

I guess some people feel they must support the corporate greed, the rich get richer, and we all stay where we're at.

I'll download HL2

I'm just a fan of the story of Half-Life, I've played it a lot more than I played the Doom series. I didn't mean anything bad if that's what anyone thinks, but I just like Half Life more than Doom for some reason, even though the stories are similar... I guess it's similar to Chevy/Ford... same shit, different name, yet some people refuse to drive the other because they're loyal to one...

As for corporate greed... the rich are going to get richer no matter what I do, so screw it. And anyway, if their business is legitimate, don't they deserve to make money for putting out a good product? I don't go to the store and steal Coke because Coca-Cola is going to get richer, why would I steal a game for that same reason? Anyway as stupid as this sounds, I actually use MP3's and downloads the way they were intended... if I like it I go out and buy it. I have an original packaging fetish :)

That first statement was kind of vague... sorry about that. Just comes down to personal preference, my friend. Or I guess nowadays that would be called a "lifestyle choice" haha.

i kindof liked half-life also, even though i've never actually beaten it, the storyline was pretty decent from what i recall
