1. Most sysops would never admit it.

2. The reason I responded in gos was just to let you know I was watching, rather than secretly and you not knowing.

3. What I said in gos was responding to what you said in GB, but would have only been understood by you. eg."yes thats right", "I think so too" than kind of thing.

4. Its not cheating, as a sysop if I feel there is a need to monitor my users because im suspicious, then I will.

You should know any electronic system you use, the system management have access to anything you say, there is no privacy disclamer, no different than surveilance cameras. As a note to that, I wouldnt use passwords that you use for anything sensitive as system ops can see them.

I was monitoring everyones input to spot suspect dupes if u must know.

Anyway, my whole reason for making it obvious that I was listening in was so you could feel like you dont have to always worry that someones listening in.

NONE of this would have happened it you had mind your own business and not being listneing to other players chats. You got caught because I called you on it. I asked how you knew what I had said. Til then all you were doing was addressing what I had said to my gang members. I asked how you knew what I ahd said then it all came out.

I have been a sysop on a few boards and will say this: Azz-X needs to speak for himself. Not all do it and the sysops I have been around dont do it cause what is said in gangpath or telepaths is no concern to the sysop. To do so would be just like standing outside someones window listening.



This is again Bad Form on Azz-X's part which he seems to be doing alot of.

Any decent op wouldn't "monitor" anyone unless they had a good reason. You had no reason to suspect anyone was playing dupes, but you went ahead and checked what they were saying in gangpaths anyway, then went so far as to gossip a reply. They weren't talking to you, they weren't talking about having dupes, you should have just left it alone. Or if you really felt the need to reply, you should have done it in a telepath, because the whole board doesn't need to know what's going on, or else the gang would have gossiped it in the first place.
