it could've been called that, but microsoft changed the name like 5 times before "windows server 2003" was chosen. though, i'm not sure if they ever intended on calling it xp server.

It's called whatever Microsoft wants to call it, and it's released as Win 2003 Server... I don't want to run it because I'd like to keep SOME resources available for running my applications. I'm only running an Athlon 900mhz, XP sp2 runs smooth but I fear anything greater.

I have a copy of XP Corp Pro. But I can't get it to install any of the SP's I keep getting a bullshit error, saying I'm not using the correct Product Key Code, please contact Microsnot and obtain the correct Key Code, blah blah blah.



Is there anyway to d/l just the service packs without going through microshit's bullshit.



Last question on the line of though, How well does WG & MMUD run under XP Pro?



I have a AMD 2800+ w/512 mb of ram, 2 HD's a 20 & a 40.

But I have to replace my GF2 as it's finally burned out (or damn close to it) Prolly gonna replace it with a Radeon

just read through the threads in this post, you'll see a number of people use it.

xp pro with all the critical updates and service packs runs great i had nothing but problems using 98 it kept randomly restarting my comp now i just need mroe ram is all
