they say cigarettes have 212 some odd chemicals in them. most are harmful. I wouldnt doubt that most of them come from sticking a filter on the butt.

The filter removes chemicals dude. He's saying that the anti-smoking ads use unfiltered cigarettes. That just makes the anti-smoking ad work that much better. Saying it has 500 toxins sounds worse than 200 toxins w/ filter. A filter acts as bong water. It just cleans the smoke as much as it can.

For example, all of the US studies on MDMA (Ecstasy) find it to cause visible damage to the brain. Yet many European studies have found the exact opposite!



As for how the data gets skewed -- there's many ways to play with statistics and many ways to purposely mess up a study. For example, US researches go *out of their way* to find test subjects who have done MANY drugs other than the one they're supposed to be studying. So the results prove little, because they can't necessarily attribute the effects to the particular drug they claim they're studying.









You know anyone that did MDMA(Ecstasy) frequently? I knew quite a few people and it dulled them horrendously.



I do agree about the stats being manipulated though. The only question is, who is telling the truth? I could work up a study that shows that 60,000 kw's of electricity is good for your health, but I doubt people would rush right out and try it ;)

Hey Speed, Move to Lake County California, the local law states if you can smoke your bong in public, and that before the person can call the police on you, they have to ask you to put it away... its only if you dont that you get busted. Also, the doctors here are HAPPY to perscribe you pot, so no more legal troubles, good weed for cheap and you can smoke where ya please.
