He also went on to mention he died in an area he himself admited he shouldn't have been in then quit the board.......I wanted to understand the correlation of his first paragraph with his last about dying....I had questions so I asked.
I stayed on topic til the person accused me of being agressive.which was off topic since it was a directed at me personally.....which was in his first reply to me.
What cracks me up is you stating I went off topic and both your posts to me have been so far off topic it isn't funny...you might want to take your own advice.

I now realize I take certain mud knowledge for granted. Most people would look at my character, my equipment, then my weapon. I assume a giggle would follow, as they realize I'm doing 500-600 damage per round at level 43, and that's only because the monsters die before I could do more, and understand where I was coming from. The fact that I died while sleeping the night before I decided to quit made no difference, and I tried to explain that to you in a later reply. It would have taken me all of 20 minutes to get my gear back and continue running over the mud.
My "attack" of you was a mistake, I realize now looking at your posts, you're not the same person who was doing the same thing you are doing in a post a few months back dealing with whatever that board amber was running was called. I'm sorry. But the fact is you continue to argue and your sole reason for doing so is because I "attacked" you, when really 89% of my info has been trying to explain to you how I reached my opinion.

It seems ari plays a board till he dies. If he's having fun he'll retrieve his dp, if not he'll quit. It seems the fun for him was over so he quit.
He stated right off, i noticed it so it must be obvious. It was a fun style board. What's the problem.
If Ari said my board was fun I'd drive to michigan from texas and kiss him on the mouth.

Just for the record, I have not yet read all the posts in this thread yet, though I do have the full intention of doing so and may or may not respond to them. First of all, you are right, the board WAS insanely unbalanced. I had planned to do some item and weapon edits but I was running short on time and had no way to get them done for when I wanted. I was offered a bunch of edits and due to REALLY bad form on my part I put them into the game without looking at them (again insane unplanned schedual). Later, as I was reading my backscroll I saw a comment stating I had DD's edits in my game. I freaked. While some people may enjoy his style of board that was not the style I wanted for my board. I gave everyone 24 hours notice and took ALL (I hope) the weapons and armor I was given out of the game. So to sum it all up; the board has x2 monster and x4 boss experinece, one new race, one new class, one new weapon for new class, one new ring and one new bracelet. As far as areas go..I have a portal room to take people to Arlysia, Lost City, Rhudar and Khazarad. I like to think even that is balanced beacuse the only way to USE these portals is to actually walk to the city at least once and purchase a ticket that is loyal and not able to be dropped (so no one can go buy it for you and give it to you). I also I do not have sys goto's though I do have the recall mod installed as well as the recall buster mod for PvP.

I have now read all the posts in this thread and...well...most of it did not reply to the board so cool. Only thing is have to say is, again, Ari, you were dead on, the board was unbalanced, I have since rectified the problem unfortunatly after you left. I have read many of your posts and value the opinion of you and most of the other posters here.

In a word: Thanks.
I appreciate the fact that you accepted my opinion as just that, an opinion, and am happy to hear that you had already taken action if it is, in fact, a balanced board you're seeking to make. I wasn't trying to start a fight, nor was I trying to bash your board, rather I was giving an opinion to be read and used however was deemed appropriate by both you, the op, and any users who may be looking for somewhere to play.
Best of luck with your board, and I hope you and it are a part of MMB for years to come.

Told you I was probably wrong about who ran the board ;) I don't know whose is whose anymore.
Any new board is going to have mass amounts of bugs and unbalance that needs to work out - the quality and popularity of the board is going to depend on whether or not the sysop seeks to purge and repair the issues. Hell, we're still working out bugs on Boink that have easily been there for 5-6 years.
From what I have seen, Trollin' Smurf is more then willing to take criticism, whether its positive or negative, and incorporate it into making his board a better place.
Props.
