The brakes went out on me when i was going 65 on a country road..being an 87 pickup, an emergency brake wasn't standard equiptment. I ended up ripping through a ladies yard, taking her fence out, and baha'd over the ditch and into a yield sign(go figure). Once the truck stopped, i left it in the cornfield for a day untill i scraped up enough balls to drive it home. Moral of the story is, know your brakes are good, never assume. they can and will try to kill you.

Found what the tape was hiding. I can only assume that the wheel cylinder was leaking, and in order to fix the leak, he removed the brake line from that wheel, and crushed the lines to stop the fluid from leaking out. So now I only have brakes going to one rear wheel... (man what a fucking idiot)... Truck is now sitting parked until I can replace the lines & cylinder.
