My Mazda wont pull a 20+ ft Boat, it can just barely pull my 16' with a 6cyl 90HP merc. So I really need a full size truck, as much as I like my Mazda.



Gas here is 98.9c p/liter (almost $5 p/gallon). It costs me $25 in gas to drive into the City (70 miles) in the Mazda, and $12 in the Caravan. But my min wage is alot higher, we start at $8.50 p/hr. I'm currently making about $300 p/week hauling shit to the dump in the Mazda.

Maybe a siverado would meet your needs. Tough,solid truck. Go for the s/b. Maybe even a blazer with a 4.3.

just lookin around on-line, your vehicles cost alot more in canada. Used vehicles here are alot cheaper. Seems you get more bang for your buck.

I shop alot at http://geo.craigslist.org/iso/us/wa prices on used vehicles is crazy low in the US. BUT with all the new hoops I have to jump thru to cross the border (thank you Mr. Bush ((you fucking asshole)). Its gonna be awhile before I'm down there spending my Canuck Peso...



We can get good deals here, people are more likely to haggle in Canada, than the US (from my perspective). I know I can talk someone down a few hundred at home, rather than down south. Must be my accent that gets in the way...

The car salesman should come over to you when you're about 20% done with the inspection. Just tell him you're looking it over and basically ignore his distractive mumbles. When you have a list of things wrong with the car, Ask him the price. After hearing the price, start listing off the items one by one and shot an estimate of what it'll cost to repair. Then shoot a more reasonable price at him. The price should never go more than a few hundred higher than your offer. It helps if you listen to some music that hypes you up before you go onto the lot. "I prefer Pantera". Go into that place and take charge. The used car dealers are intimidated by a knowledgable customer.

I was looking at a 1991 Chevy Sprint (piece of crap), anyways, they were asking $900. After I went thru the list of things wrong with it, and that the Odo had been rolled back. He tried to deny that one, and I said here "take a look at this photo, I took of the odo" (I had my digital camera with me) see how the numbers are crooked, that says its been rolled back. I offered him $200, he said $500, I said $300, we settled on $350. In BC, we have the worst record for "rip-off" dealers than anywhere else in North America.

ouch, yeah I just looked up the 91 sprint. pretty sad lil car. i knew a kid who had ona those in highschool. It ran shitty for a long long time. good runners, but very short on looks. lol. Some of those compact cars were great, other, you just wish never happened.
