This is ridiculous. A whole community that has nothing to do but bag on a guy for 7 pages.
Miles can be arrogant. VERY arrogant. But his mud is probably the most well editted I've seen. And I've been around for a while. A low post count does not mean you don't read the forums. It just means you don't have much to add, or know enough not to need to ask.
Sure it goes down every now and then. Computers fuck up all the time. It's not his edits. It's stupid shit like power outages, or computer hardware problems. His edits are clean, balanced, and extremely well detailed.
If you're going to talk shit on Miles, I don't agree, but whatever right? You're going to do it either way.
But don't say shit about MudRev unless you've been there for more than 10 levels. Shit, this time Raiden and Syntax are both playing there, haven't really talked any shit on it on the BBS, or through this thread. People that were there during the first or second game talk shit about it and then quit, but they seem to keep turning back up. Someone might get upset about a change that was made to an item, or a class, to keep it balanced. Then they leave. 2 weeks later they come back, because they can't find anywhere else that's as good.
And that's it.
I don't have to play ten levels to know for a fact that the board has been down atleast three times this weekend. All it takes is knowing someone that plays there.
It went down Friday night and atleast twice on Sat.
Btw: Get a clue. Miles does not do the editing.
It is one thing to follow a sysop and his words blindly but you need to open your eyes and see that the board is down just as much as it is up.
Is it his system? is it the editing? Who cares, bottom line is the board was down three times just over the weekend. And it is only Sunday.
Has any one checked the new and improved web site that Miles bragged would be up and running when the board opened? I did check it out. Looks like a child of five set it up.
Under new areas. ONLY one new area is mentioned. What happened to the glorified board that he spents months on and advertised for months with his lil teasers? The area he mentions was in the game on his old board. It may have been changed somewhat in this ner version but it is still in the same place.
Where are all these new areas he teased about in post after post after post.
Oh for all that don't know this: When I was on the board, before getting abnned because I wouldn't give out personal info, Miles was also getting bashed back then and he asked in a gossip if people would sign up here and speak up for him. Something to think about the posts being typed now in favor of Miles.

This thread has turned into quite the array of Mile's bashing. Thought I would add in a bit of my opinion.
I did have negative feelings towards Mile's for quite awhile for personal reasons (which ended drifiting away from my board and onto MMB eventually) for quite awhile. And yes.. I have been playing on MudRevo... And quite frankly, I've truly enjoyed it.
Even though someone may not be the brightest bulb (sorry Miles ;-)) in the box, doesn't mean that they cannot make some very decent edits. Mud Revolution has turned into a great board, and I've made ammends with Miles for some earlier disagreements that we had. Mud Revolution does have quite a few aspects that still need work, and has stolen well over half of my users... but I'm not angry about that... I'm excited to see Mile's and his editing staff beginning to try and create a board that will 'revolutionize' the mudding world. Given that is a very, very difficult task... But we all have to start somewhere, eh?
I'm keeping on my feet though -- because Mud Rev has become a nice threat to not only my board, but also the much larger edited boards that are out there. And I'll be... Mile's has created a HUGE user-base, which make's me, as a fellow board owner, very damn jealous. He's running over 70+ users, AFTER banning duplicate accounts. (If only I could take all of those users)
Thumbs up Miles... Even though you need to get a life, and the board needs to be online more instead of down because of a crash.
So... Miles, you jackass... Boards looking good... glad to be a part of it... If I find more to complain about, I'll let you know right away, as always.

UNTRUE about no more dupes. I know of atleast 4 people who play there that all have dupes. And yes, they do have them online at the same time. Ask around when you are online, because having a dupe is alive and well on
MudRev.
Do I dislike the board itself. No. What I do dislike is the misleading information. Players do have dupes and do play them with their main char.
As for my personal opinion of Miles: He could rid the world of hunger etc but he still will be just a lil boy to me in how he treats females and the names he calls them.
