Well unfortunatly due to stability issues I might have to switch to yet ANOTHER repack for solutions, sorry for the mess.

Hi All,

Caught the kid's colds so I have been testing "Mara's Repack 3.2" from RageZone. Other than having to tune down Mucho-heinous XP give away, and renaming the "old" versions of files back in place everything seems solid.

The only issue I have found was and still is MOBs drop lots o stuff...

and the "Companions" have been tweaked to a mini black dragon as a panda cub and a succubus as a mini diablo... =)

I even tested with the add on update recently posted.

Note: Tested on an AMD 3100 with 512MB RAM and only two characters logged in, one on a client and one on the same box as the game server.

I figured before I could help support a game server, that I should know how to set one up and run it first...

The current version we have is nice except for the stability issue but I didnt have that problem last night so I dont know if its just on certain days between networks and such.

I like the exp, its nice but not too nice. You dont have to kill hundreds of thousands of monsters just for half a level.

I like the drops. Sometimes they are a little excessive and you wonder where the hell the monster had it all stored but thats a question thats probably left unanswered. From the drops I am able to usually have 10-20 silver in stock after I do my buying and selling and that makes me happy.

There seem to be more quests now. I dont know if they are supposed to be part of the game but they are fun and add different elements to the game.

There does seem to be a few little minor glitchy things like wolves spitting acid on you but it doesnt ruin the game experience.

Well, as for me, I would prefer stability, even if it means some other functions are broken. Either way, I appluad Stu for putting up with all this, just so his friends have a game to call home.

As for quests etc, I've found a few pages that might be of interest.

http://wow.allakhazam.com/ has loads of info on quest, by area/class/level etc. I found a few quests I hadn't seen before, and did them (although some are still not completely working)

additionally, http://www.kaldorei.com/worldmap/ has a fabulous interactive map (although the website is in german)

This site has been extremely useful, in figuring out if something is broken or not.

ok, Followed these directions to the letter

1. Update to 1.10

2. Run the 1.9.x Patch Hacker.exe

3. Try to run \/\/0\/\/

- If it says patch-2.mpq is corrupt just delete patch-2.mpq

- If it says ChrClasses.dbc is corrupt go to step 4.

4. Use WinMPQ to open patch.mpq of your \/\/0\/\/ installation.

5. Then use the 'add' function to add the correct

ChrClasses.dbc included in this rar, let it overwrite.

6. Done, you should now be able to play.

every time I try to connect, it says "cannot connect to server" so either the server is down hard (which, according to the website, it's not) or something went south in these directions.

Was the server upgraded? I see its using a burning chrome patch.

The EXP seems to be low and the drops suck again so I think something did change. Could we change the exp back and up the drops again?

Edit: Addition: Ive also noticed every 3 rounds or so my warrior tries to do something and it says not enough mana 3 times. I have no idea what hes trying to do. It also tells me every once in aw hile that my inventory is full.

Thanks.
