Colts: 13-0 start, then got beat. Then took a month off, essentially, in which time the head coaches son dies, cornerback gets stabbed by his wife, who was in county jail while he was being tackled by rothlisberger on that bettis fumble, and I had another thing but blanking on it now. This team wasn't the team they were a few months ago, and that's disapointing because EVERYONE thought this was their year, myself included.
On the flip side, you have Denver: 13-3, flying under the radar because of indy, 2-headed giant at running back, and a QB who's likely going to the pro bowl with manning. Oh, did I mention their zone run blocking scheme, which no one can ever seem to stop, or the high-impact turnover producing defense, or the 2 superbowl rings coach shannahan has?
I'm not saying Pitt's going to lay down for a loss, and I'm sure this will be a good game. But I'd be surprised if it was still close in the 4th quarter.
