I was kidding about the drugs r bad remark. Also, pot is definitely a drug, as is tobacco, alcohol, and nicotine.

Guess I should have elaborated more huh. I dont see pot as being a drug because of it's medicinal properties.

A woman who rents an Apt in the building we manage, she's in her late 50's and has terminal cancer, she smokes I guess about an 2 to 3 oz's per/week to ease the pain, and the side effects from chemo. She was told 5 years ago that she would have 2 years to live. The cancer hasn't killed her yet, she credits most of it to her, herb. She just asked us today, if we could feed her cat, cause she is going to have to spend more time in the hospital as the cancer has spread to her brain.

If I hadn't met Jill, I too would have at pot as being a drug, but now I look at it in a different light.

I used to smoke cigarettes back in secondary school..when I was 14 I think. I moved on to weed at 18 and haven't stopped since..I've cut back lately, now that I spin out regularly.

I say a drug is a drug even though I don't know a clear defintion of the word. The definition semms difficult to me. http://encarta.msn.com/dictionary_/drug.html I would think it would just be a subtance that alters a function of your body.

I also say anything you want to do to your OWN body should be legal. Saying that I usually only take caffeine, ibuprofen, alcohol, acetaminophen, and diphenhydramine. No marijuana or nicotine.

One of the main things keeping pot illegal is the unfounded thought that it fucks you up so badly that it puts others at risk.
