PETA = People Eating Tasty Animals :D :D

The impact of mankind on all animals is apalling, how many species have become extinct, because of Man's interference, regardless of the industry.

How many people go hunting just for the sport of it.

We are at the very top of the food chain, yet the only thing that hunts and kills humans, is humans and in certain countries it's deemed illegal.

So now our species has become over abundant, and the animal kingdom suffers because of our speceis.

Maybe there should be a hunting season for humans... god I know a few I would like to pop off :)

And what are all those opposed to this torture going to do about it? Something, I hope, because it seems pointless to take a side on something and then just stop there... In essence, you all don't really care because if you did, you'd figure out some way to stop this. But in no way does it inconvience any of us in any way other than not coinciding with our own beliefs.

And I'd bite into Traci Bingham any day, except I'd worry about biting into a hard, glued-on jewel...

Well not to sound like a total bitch.. but animals are much easier to love than people. My two favorite animals are horses and cats, when cats are mad at you they find your shoe and shit in it.. oh and horses... oh my lord... don't piss off a horse. To say that animals do not communicate or show emotion.. is bullshit. I would rather a cat shit in my shoe than my bf telling me what a piece of shit I am.. and I would rather have a horse bite me in anger and frustration than walk through the grocery store while stockers say preverted, vulgar things to me in spanish. Once people start doing things in order to DESERVE better treatment.. they will get it.. until then I'll show more love, respect and devotion to my equine and feline friends.. who are just as selfish as I.. and they are not afraid to "admit" it.

Isla, not all people (men) are pigs, some of us are wise enough to know that some thoughts are best kept within. Think one thing, say another, but then some of the immature think it's funny, or they're kool to reveal how much of a disgusting pig they are.

I am a solitary creature, most women I will respect them for the fact of that they are another human with feelings, but MY general feelings are they're back stabbing, bitches, who dont give a fuck other than to rip a new hole in some guy for nothing more than money.

For me, I prefer Dogs & Cats, at least they only know unconditional love. Yeah when my cat is pissed at me, he'll come up and bite me. and then run and hide for the rest of the day (or til he gets hungry), Hal is just a little freak who does some wierd and funny things, but we love him anyway.

My dog, she's dead has been for 2 years, and I miss her alot. There will never be another dog like her. She truley was my best friend.

Chevy was a Coyote x Border Collie.

I don't think anyone can argue that they deserve a quick and painless death. But that stuff is always going to happen, so it just seems like a waste of resources to stop this from happening when they're going to die anyway.

Don't think that I agree with it though. I'm so for animals I don't even like veterinarians. Yes animals get sick, but that's nature. I don't believe in interfering with nature. I've never had pets but when strays come around my house I let them stay in my garage and I give them 1 meal a day. It is the animals responsibility to hunt and gather food. And Vets are just people who feed off the emotions of people who love their pets so much they'd do anything for it. Yes they're fixing animals, but did the animal asked to be fixed? And then to put them down when the situation is "hopeless"... the conceit of humans to think that some pseudo-science can take the place of a higher power is amazing.

Er, uhm, replace "animals" with "people" and "vets" with "doctors" and explain to me your rationale for different treatment... The only difference is whether or not it asked to be fixed. And I'm pretty sure it's safe to say (backed with centuries of philosophy, psychology, and sociology) that every creature's main goal is to stay alive; plain and simple.

"The conceit of humans to think that some pseudo-science can take the place of a higher power is amazing." ..... er?

Ah, the blind stupidity of that funny little acronym is just classic, since you didn't even spell "eating" correctly. Kudos. Way to represent.

Oh, and we heard you the first time. We just chose to ignore it.
