I was thinkin about creatin a telportation node kinda thing. Pay a heavy toll, get to use a node from one continent to another and visit huge other cities.
Just something I been thinkin of doin, but until I got this editor, that was the biggest pain the fukin ass.

Quote (MrBlack @ Feb. 27 2002,11:46)I was thinkin of findin someone that would be willing to completely redesign the realm. As in, erase all rooms currently in existance (well, maybe not all, just to save some time ;) ) and start over, and see what could be done. I'm sure theres a few ppl out there with map ideas that would work out great ;)[/quote]
making new rooms in Nightmare was a payne in the ass!!! so, if your looking from someone to making loads and loads of new areas, your program better be swift :)

Re: LJN Editor [Archive] - ForumsHQ
damnit.. let that shit out.. and if it is.. get me a copy.. so I can start making areas/items for morbid and anyone else who would like me to edit for them!
Re: LJN Editor [Archive] - ForumsHQ
Heh, been talkin with Xetox about this. He was supposed to send me some info in email, but I never got it (hopefully he just forgot )
But heres the news....LJN will be available no later than next weekend (4/13). I am creating a website and will have it uploaded to a morbid server. It will have all of my hex map work, all of the LJN work, and any aditional info I find useful and will put up there. Xetox will also have control over content, so if he feels it needs info, he can add to it.
I am also setting my personal site back up on a morbid server. That won't have any mud related stuff, just thought I'd let you all know, incase you were interested in knowin more about me or my work
Thanks Xetox for helping this become a possibility. now send me that info!!
Laters ppl!

From the limited extent of my testing of LJN its wonderfully stable! The text block creation process is also alot more comfortable to work with, you dont feel like your going to blow up your blocks if you accidentally hit the space bar.
Re: LJN Editor [Archive] - ForumsHQ
kick ass, even though i dont run a mud(shitty upstream) i been wanting to check this thing out... should be fun, if it wasnt for mmb(the doors it opens to the edited world) i would have gotten sick of mud long ago
Re: LJN Editor [Archive] - ForumsHQ
MrBlack, ya da man.. as always!
Re: LJN Editor [Archive] - ForumsHQ
Thanks for pointin the out Invis...I never really touched on the text block capabilities of LJN
Using notepad to make text blocks is sooooo much easier than hex editing them in
Thanks for all the creds from everyone, sorry it's taking so long to get this stuff out, as you all know I have been busy with school, but seeing as this is only the first week of the quarter, I'm still a little swamped, but have already begun a new site. I have titled it Mud_Hex (only because I can't really remember what I told Xetox to name the domain, heh).
So far I have the basic info setup already, I was workin on it last night...did a nice little 'What is MajorMUD' section, and will be moving on to do the LJN section tomorrow. The hex maps section will just be a revamp of all my maps from sofacy, which I am sooo glad I have a backup of
Also, if anyone has any other items they might like to see on the pages, let me know...So far I have hex maps, tuts, ljn and a links section. I know theres more I should have, but I can't think of them right off...anyways, class is about to start, so I gotta go ppl...I'm on ICQ and Yahoo for most of the time I'm here today and tomorrow.
