Ray -- nah, I'm not gonna play, that wouldn't make much sense (it's not like anything in the game is really going to surprise me, unless you edit it a lot -- including majorly edited classes + races -- in which case maybe I'd check it out)
Hobo_Bill -- err, forever to level? leveling in doormud is about 100x faster (literally) than stock majormud exp tables :)
it takes around 35 to 100 fights to level (depending on level, lower-to-mid levels are quicker than higher ones) if you're an average player fighting in areas intended for your level. That's like 20-75 minutes of gameplay per level... pretty fast in my opinion.
Or you can level using even less fights if you're like Ray and are entertained by just killing the same Dragon over and over every 15 mins for levels 1-10 ;)
Altho, I dispute Ray's assertion that the hardest monster is killable in 2 weeks w/ default settings... Ray, have you ever even killed the Deranged Templar? If you want to solo him, you have to be around level 25 (if you have every limited item, especially the unique ones) or around level 30+ otherwise...
