I play, but with this downtime and the many others like it since Mudrev came back up, I'm seriously thinking about not going back. Shrug, the proper thing to do would be to update the users on the status, but that's my opinion. /offtopic ;)

It seems to be an ISP outage, because when it's a PC problem I can still ping the address and get a response from his router. I'm not able to do that right now, so I'm guessing/hoping the first post we get from Miles will say "isp's a fag, but it's back up"

I'll bash it if you can't. I don't know about ya'll but if I hear a board is the best around and it's down for like 5 days in a row, that kind of ruins the image of it being the best around. (shrug) I was getting bored and wanted to play somewhere but I guess I can't play on Miles' "masterpiece" when its been down for almost a week. GO MILES WOOO I wanna run a board like yours. ;)

Wow, my {insert flame here} really turned into a nice long flame, eh dxpac? :-)
But I can agree... Mile's is losing interest in the board with this offline time... But who knows, maybe something else is going on? Dunno... Gabriel is his co-sysop and is normally in good contact with Miles... and even he hasn't heard anything.... Shrugs!

It is kinda sad that Miles claimed his board was the best and bla bla bla yet it has such bad down time. Granted hes probably at work and such but you can usually configure your server/computer to do the work for you to eliminate alot of downtime.
I cant say anything bad about the board. I played there and it has a lot of edits some good some bad. I lost interest and have stopped playing there. To each their own but I find it funny that he opened his mouth to brag and boast and now its coming back to bite him in the ass.
If he wanted to wiggle his way into the backbone of bbs's such as morbid, omc. sinister(ar), lunar (think I got them all sorry if I missed one) he shouldve announced his board and not have used as much arrogance as he has had in the past. Im sure his board would have been more openly appreciated and talked about other then topic after topic of complete bashing.
For those that do play on it I hope it comes up soon for you fellas and ladies.

I like Mud Revolution Night, but I quite agree with the majority here that Mud Rev's unannounced downtime and lack thereof to even communicate to its staff why its offline shows quite a bit of uninterest and even partial disloyalty on Mile's behalf not only to his board, but also to those who enjoy playing on it.
Now before you are quick to flame me, and become angry because of what I have said... Keep in mind that alot of the users who are posting on here are current/former sysops and run/have run quality (perhaps) boards in the past... And they really know what they are talking about.
The popularity on my board has gone down since Mud Rev opened, and I am learning new things every day... Especially that with every board comes it's devoted and loyal users.. Such as yourself. I commend you for that, because every sysop needs people like you to stand by them and prod them on, even through mass downtime like this... Without the devoted users I have had on my board, I more than likely would have put it down. Keep on with the loyalty bro ;)

in life, shit happens. miles busts his ass at work and at home to keep us in a free, kickass mud. so if we go down for 3 days im not gonna whine and cry, imma wait and see what happens. if the board didnt come up several hours ago and i didnt know that the reason for downtime was comcast, in a week i might change my mind. but, comcast is a bunch of retarded fucks, and there was probably nothing to b done. personally, i dont care if miles posts why we r down, as long as it comes back up im happy. too much work has been done for me to show a lack of appreciation in any way. said my piece, gonna go drink another screwdriver, peace.
