I did plan on removing the cps manually.. but when I tried it on my sysop account with no quests completed and no modifiers it still reset mostly every added ability except for MR DR and HP regen.. Should I try addability -1 and then add my specified amount?

problem with anyting that adds or removes CP in exchange for something else is that when they retrain the CP amount will be reset. when i get a chance i'd like to do some extensive testing on adding abilities myself. i noticed in v1.11p-beta13's release notes it has: "16) Checks for ability flags vs. class/race." ...this may cause problems and may need a dll hack to stop it.
The way I would rather do it is use the ability adding items as reward for a quest rather than in exchange for cps but it was a thought to use it as a reward for manually removing cps. I think metro would have more of an audience if mud was a bit more customizeable :finger1: One nice thing would be the ability to multi class by quest at a high level that rerolls you.. allowing you to keep your abilities and stuff :) not to get off the subject but Im just looking for something to add in for my players in relation to either ability adding quests or stats.. need a change around the realm somewhere :)

Now multi-classing would be cool!

Multi-Classing can be done in a off way... you just don't get an extra title as you go along...

i'm kinda curious on this one, i've thought it through and there doesn't seem any good way to work in remorting, reclassing, whatever you wanna call it. there's no way to make a textblock change someone's class as far as i know(?), and i can't think of any other way to take care of things like combat class, magic level, etc. unless of course you're talking about manually changing the class of everyone who gets to the level where they can... do you mind elaborating?
