I just recently started playing on raidens board and I don't believe I have ever run into a sysop who cares more about his users...



I Never said he dosn't care about his users. He cares about them alot.. He cares about them so much he wont let there virgin eyes see swear words!

Do I feel Threatened?! Sure I do.. Im threatened that good mmud users will be fooled into investing time and energy into a character that isn't nearly as fun. Why waste time, It's always the same end result..





I'm excited to see where your board is going to do, because i've heard alot about your editing. But as far as ops go... raiden has my vote. He's a great guy, and really cares about his players



Well go ahead and make your vote based on half the ballot... Whose to say I don't care about my users? I admit, I've been working way too much overtime lately.. Dosn't mean I don't give a damn.. I still put in as much free time as possible, and the BBS is still running and it will continue to.

well, lookie here.... i am co-editor, mudop, and forumop of lunar dynamics.... now, no one cares if your the op of your system or about your opinions, but they do care about when you bash other boards that have been up for way longer than your mudrev (and you cant say that you havent, because i know a few people who would back me on that).... sure mudrev MIGHT someday be a great board, but to say that its one of the best RIGHT now in this day and age, is getting far more arrogant than someone thinking they are god.

I'm not bashing 'classic' boards.. I love OMC, Morbid is Great, Lunar is Ok now that I know your Op.. Regardless, What does length of time have to do with anything? Does that mean the legit BBS that is 10 years old and has a 10-person userbase is awesome? Or are you trying to imply that they have put in much more work and effort then I have? How do you know? You haven't played my realm.. You download the database and count the numbers. It's not my fault I can work twice as fast as most people, and 10x as fast as Metro.

thats easy, look at lunar dynamics (am speaking from experience there because i have only played at lunar after sampling other boards)

first off, you complain about how much work you put into mudrev and blah blah blah like the users are SUPPOSED to appreciate what you do.... ive been with lunar dynamics for almost a year now, and never not once has invisigod ever complained about doing too much work for lunar, if at all he wants to go up and above just for the users and they dont even know what he does or how much work he puts into lunar....

users, you have pvp and that generally attracts alot of troublemakers and people lookin for a fight.... lunar dynamics being a non-pvp realm has got so many people that want pvp and that wanna go at each others throat, yet they continue to play there and stray from other boards because everyone is like a family and we back each other up no matter what....



as for me, ask anyone on lunar about that... theyll tell you that not all is as it seems, and that some things are illusioned to create a masquerade for a reason....

You're still contradicting yourself, Miles.. You continually say you're not bashing, but then follow it up talking trash on a system or a particular person. The only reason I've any inclination to check out MR is because of the work I've heard Demostheses has done, curious to see the changes since MR opened. And you say you use criticism to spur on more effort - perhaps you should use the criticism you've read in this thread and stop being a prick and talking trash? I'm sure you'd receive more respect that you currently do. What's in the past doesn't always stay in the past, especially when you continually bring it up and repeat mistakes. Humility brings more rewards than ego.

No, I'm not laughing at the fact you want to see credit given to the other editors, rather at the fact that you think there would be room for anyone else to get any credit without being eternally damned for talking away Mr Hollywood's (aka Miles') precious public eye time.. When an individual is as dead keen on themselves as Miles clearly is, no amount of logic or common sense can ever prevail.
