I might add that both the board and where the edits are comming from run the same version of mud, both using the same nightmare version, and the edits work on the test board without a problem (which is why I don't think it's an unpatched dll)

Ahh gotcha.

Anyhow... It's definitely not an unpatched .dll... Otherwise I don't believe I would be able to have the item, race, class, monster edits in that I currently do.

So, I guess the question becomes, what else could be causing this problem?

The edits are working fine on our test board, but when we import them to Boink, they corrupt the mud.

Did you try copying in a known good dll (the one from your test board)?

What exactly are you importing?

What record numbers are you using?

nod, and all those numbers seem fine. are you running a recovery before the board is loaded? have you tried copying in the dll yet?

Yeah -- We were very careful to run an offline recovery and such after we compiled before we put the board back up.

I'll try the idea you had with the .dll, I'll grab and load Grey's and see if that does anything.
