MBBS I believe supports telnet with the TCP/IP package, and as for TA, if you can find it "retail" 10-to-1 they will have the editor for it as well (since they were released together) as for finding it, I'd need a site addy where I knew of a guy I knew at least had it, and that I'd have to get from syntax or some other hardcore wg guy.

You bet i am an harcore wg guy... ;)

I have that file. Tele-Arena II... including a C/S side client giving you the possibility to play the game with graphics. But beware, it never worked on NT. It's just working on Worldgroup 1.0 or 2.0 DOS.

They never MADE a WG 3.x version. HOWEVER if you want just use the DMA Client deal and have 2 comps and wala you got yourself TA and other old sk00l games.. :)

TeleArena II has a *TINY* game world. Only like a couple hundred rooms. The author released it, said he was in the process of making a ton more areas, sold a bunch of copies, and then promptly disappeared w/o releasing anything else! :(

Kinda sucks b/c the game woulda been a lot of fun... but you can beat everything in it in like a few hours.

Nobody searches for TA on the net eh?

I have been playing on ta03.kicks-ass.net for over a year now.. They have an extremely edited version of tele-arena, started from base.. The sysop now has it working with WG NT. yes, NT.. i no longer play because it once again got old.. but for everyone who still has that itch, telnet to ta03.kicks-ass.net.. 11 runes, tons of races/classes, new towns, monsters.. its insane..

i think even http://ta03.kicks-ass.net might work for a web site too.. check it out

later fellas

umm..you log on, make an account (ignore the all info must be accurate, its only like 3 questions and nothing more personal than email which you can always use a spam account for..)..but..the main menu is pretty ugly, you cant access anything from the menu but logoff, and you dont even have access to page anyone..so im wondering..whats this bbs up for again?

yeah shadd, but that round is way overcrowded..im lookin for somewhere else..tired of script killers and idiots with logon messages saying 'attacked you with a' so everyone hangs, or people that broadcast the shit on chit chatter..all people who dont even play the game, they just sign on to hang people up..
