I just have a problem with the way he presents his arguments, using faulty and unfounded statements to support his views. And then, when he knows he's beat, he just resorts to personal attacks and regurgitating the same things he said in his previous posts.
I don't usually engage in personal attacks. Care to point me to some? (And I hope you don't point to me calling Miles a pre-n00b.. he is, I wasn't attacking him, I was just pointing out that he has no idea what he's talking about).

whoa whoa whoa ... i wouldn't go that far. overall locke's helped me with about 1% of what i've done with NMR. i still got skills too :).
Yeah really, I've helped polish some of the stuff that was missing, and that's it. Syntax did 99% of NMR by himself or based upon the previous editors work. I help with the remaining stuff whenever I find it because I'd like to see NMR as complete as possible (short of us having MMUD's source code, I think he's about as close as he's going to get).

But at least I can admit I'm an asshole and I put people off and that's my intention.
Oh hell, I'm an asshole. I'm sorry if I didn't put up a notice, but if it helps, I could maybe add a disclaimer to my sig, something like--
I'm an asshole
Would that help with the issues people have with me?

Sorry, what I meant was that Locke helped track down a lot of flags that wouldn't be in NMR (at least not as timely) without him.

I'm an asshole
27 years of living at home and being spoiled by Mommy will do that to a person.

People read posts and automaticly assume they're an attack.
Locke Cole can not justify his opinion without attacking the ideas of someone else, in a weak attempt to make his opinions more justified and look better.
He will never admit wrongness, for he must ALWAYS be right. People who live their life through the computer have a problem with this, since he has likely been wrong in real life 99% of the time.

Yeah, which explains you. Except you've probably never moved out.

Maybe your sheltered lifestyle didn't make it so you ever had to participate in debate at school, but... that's exactly what debate is. You take your ideas, and you point out flaws in your opponents. So yeah, I guess I did do that, so sue me. Don't like it? Drop dead.

Yes people do have this problem if they live their life through their computer-- this explains you and your attitude. You've never had to deal with real life and being proven wrong in a debate.
I'm genuinely sorry that you've been wrong so much lately, but you can't blame me for your inability to properly propose ideas or to come up with odd comments that are either irrelevant, illogical, or simply out of place.

Haha Willy, I like your arguement.. Why dont you just say "Im rubber, your glue.. Whatever my truths are, I'll pass them onto you."
You have been at the keys, posting, continously now since Thursday afternoon. That would cement the fact you havent left the keys in 4 days except to sleep and eat (Set aside alot of time for eating.).. This would furthur cement the fact your unemployed and live off your wife's income. The wife you met on a BBS. HAHAHAHAHA.
"I know you are, but what am I?"
Hahahaha

I would have said that, but I'm not some little kid like you.
You have been at the keys, posting, continously now since Thursday afternoon.
I have? Or, maybe in your idiotic mind it never occurred to you that I took Friday off. I don't know how you figure I've been posting since Thursday afternoon though-- I was at work all day and didn't get home until the early evening.
This would furthur cement the fact your unemployed and live off your wife's income. The wife you met on a BBS. HAHAHAHAHA.
No, actually I am employed right now. But unlike the $7.10 an hour McJob you have, the places I work for allow for flexible hours.
Oh right, and speaking of you.. why don't you share your success stories with the class? Or is it that the truth would be too hard to share? Might it be because you're calling me all the things you in fact, are?
