I believe everyone should follow saftey, but I am not one to preach, I dont wear helmuts in states that dont require yu to, I ride way to fast...I wear leather at night :)

I broke both my legs, my right shoulder blade, left collar bone, left arm in 2 places, all because I was wearing dark riding gear on a dark highway, the guy never saw me I dont think. I wasn't found til morning as I was off the side of the road, thank god it was late June.

Now I ride with caution, and I want to look like a christmas tree at night, I want to be seen from 1/2 a mile away :D

Well i got one more thing to add to Xetoxs remedy of riding safe. You can laugh now well i do atleast becuase shows how stupid some ppl can be ie "ME". Yup my buddies show up all with back paks and ready to do a road trip to kingston, Ontario. Im in ottawa so a good 1 and a half hour or 2 depending riding speed. Well ALWAYS check your OIL before doing such trips, see i had just gotten my oil changed that week so i figured i was good, NO see i run my bike hard, redlining and then switching gears. Well needless to say by the time my bike got back it was near dry and F!@#!@ up big time, the bikes a complete write off well not worth fixing in my eyes, i bought the bike for 1800.00 and to fix it was 1100.00 with labour. Yup Check you oil boys before leaving on big trips or regularly. MY bro still makes fun of it. I get in shit from him now beucase i check too often..better safe then sorry eh..What happned was a baring came lose and rattled around in the crank shaft messing the motor up really good. I was lucky the motor didnt sieze while driving..

You should check all fluids and lines and pressures before taking a trip!
