nod, and doesn't this just look unrealistic? there's no way you could block an overarm attack the way sephiroth is holding that sword...

Actually, that's just a still...you don't know how the whole animation is, he could be deflecting the blow, which can be done at that angle.
But, thats technical stuff...this is fantasy remember ;)
