I buy all my CD's used anyway and I only pay about $4 per/CD. Kazaa is too unreliable you have no idea what the fuckers are gonna change the name to, just so they can boost thier fucking rating. And then deal with the viruses that som asshole is sharing. Um no thanx. I'll stick with used cd's they're cheap, and I can take them all and take the songs I like and burn em onto a new cd.

You can't get a virus from an MP3. Use KazaaLite and you don't have to worry about viruses if you are downloading MP3s and Movies. Also, you get a +1000 Kazaa rating with Kazaa Lite, so you don't have to worry about ratings.

If you are dealing in a lot of cds, you can have them in less than a day. Search for artist and CD name, select every occurance that pops up to download, repeat until you get all your cds. Make directories for these cds. The next day, drop to dos, move *whatever*.mp3 Whatever. Back to windows, sort by size, remove everything too small, do a simple visual check to make sure you don't have any bogus songs. Run winamp (or whatever), do a quick scan of your songs, and viola, you have an almost-complete cd. You probably are missing a song or two per cd, just do another search for those songs. Taking about 30 minutes a day, you've got 20+ cds in two days. Been doing it since before napster, be doing it til after kazaa.

I use Kazaa lite, like no spyware :)

But when I load it up, I not only go after music, and movies but other stuff as well. I have another place I get movies from generally. usually either really good digital cams, or dvd rips. almost none of the garbage that you find on Kazaa.

this is where I get most of my movies from, it's NOT P2P. :)

Never download an executable or a text document from Kazaa. You're begging for a virus.

You've gotta trade for the movies on that page as far as I can tell.

A: You can't download any movies from this site. This site is leagal and allow's only

to create a movies/ftps listings and contac other users using the site's messanger.

after you established contact with the user you wanna trade movies with, contact him

using other tools such as IRC, ICQ, AIM etc' in order to transfer the movies.

I don't trade. It is P2P. Peer 2 Peer. Meaning, your computer, to theirs. You don't download off the site, you have to download from their computer. Unless I'm completely mistaken and the info on the site is misleading for legal issues and I just haven't snooped enough.

Personally, for music and short episodes, I use Kazaa lite. But for full cd games and dvd movie rips, I use *shudder* edonkey, moreso for the verified files than for the speed, I mean you can have 12 movies, but at 2 hours apiece, how many can you watch at once? (oh yeah, and for all those ppl out there that don't know what's up with the speed, patience is the way to go, the speed builds up in that program, albeit slowly)

eDonkey is surprisinly nice for that sort of thing.

Ya'all might be quite interested in DC++ also.. it's like IRC I guess.. I like hopping on that and browsing people's stuff.. find all my huge games and really anything I need over 500 megs..

i don't trust kazaa for anything other than MP3s, I either use DC++ or eDonkey myself.. nod..

pretty much you can visit a website like www.sharereactor.com and search for whatever you want, click on it, edonkey auto-downloads it (sometimes it takes awhile, but it'll always get it)

real quality shit too
