Not to be a dick, but you don't know where the joke originated. You probably weren't alive when it originated. It could have been about bumfuck egypt.
Hmm maybe, maybe not. But when I first saw this joke about 10 years ago it was about france then too, and I've seen the words changed to Afganistan, and lately Iraq. But everytime it was an American saying "fill it with water" and *I* changed it to a Canadian.
A good thing for France
Re: A good thing for France
Yeah, you changed it to Canadian. Just like a thousand other people out there who got the joke when it said Afganistan, France, Egypt, Iraq, America, Africa, China, Japan, and every single other country out there. I've seen it for years, don't think I've seen the same countries in it once.
Re: A good thing for France
great thing to debate as any, i suppose.
Re: A good thing for France
Gives me something to do at work.
Re: A good thing for France

Re: A good thing for France
Oh, I know. I change jokes all the time, so does everyone. That was my point :)

Re: A good thing for France
this joke was funny, but the version i heard having to deal with the local 2 towns here was funnier cause instead of "fill it up" the man simply muttered "flood it" made it sound more harsh
