Hell I dunno if I know this person or not, But I do know that soemtimes people do get pissed off and do stupid things. Time will tell if he actually reported a BBS?



I'm curious, what exactly does Metro do aside from "trying" to the shut the offending board down?

they dont do anything. from my time spent as a forum op on metro forums a few years ago, all they do is tell you to report the said bbs to thier ISP.

They can also sue you, but they won't do that unless it's someone that has money. They wouldn't waste their time for just getting a judgement that will sit on their credit report for some 20 years or so. It'd be a waste of time. They are pretty limited in their actions, but most ISP's take stuff like that serious enough to shut someone down.

actually in tradoz's defense... i trust the guy and i've known him for maybe a year now.. he says he didnt say or do anything of the sort.. i asked him originally if he got kicked off of a BBS recently or if he was mad at any sysops.. He was like I dont know if I got kicked let me check, and he did so. He said nope not kicked off, why?.. So I told him.. Dude saw what was going on and got pissed.. I highly doubt it was tradoz..



But, I've been wrong before.. I see no reason why he would lie to me.. He's told me some crazy shit that was true before he probably shouldn't have and trusted me with it, so I doubt this is him..



and i'm no freaking dupe. =P
