How about "unpleasant work environment". Has a better connotation than saying "stressful".



As for what NOT to write... the two most ridiculous ones I've seen on applications:

- "Fired for being drunk at work"

and

- "Fired for borrowing money from register"



No joke, people actually wrote the above.

That could lead to questions as to why it was unpleasant. Which could get into the area of him being disliked or whatnot.





I'd still go with what Speed said, better advancement opportunities.

At my job I do most of the hiring. I cannot stand to see someone put that a job was too stressful. I don't even like them telling me that during the interview. Another thing I don't like is when they put "quit" on the line that clearly states "reason for quitting". Morons don't get hired:)
