rofl, nod. i dont have faith in any nvidia cards besides their TI series. ati seems to be getting the edge. i have a geforce 4 ti 4200 128mb ... runs pretty good.

I dislike ATI, just from personal experiences. Voodoo ruled all there was to rule, ATI can suck a fat one. I purchased a video card for $130 a month or so ago, and honestly, I couldn't tell you off the top of my head what it is. I just went in, grabbed one, and left. Damn the pot.

I enjoyed Voodoo also especially their website that had hundreds of working drivers posted by people.

for you, i'm sure. but learning is key. read a couple fucking manuals and use that worthless mass on your neck for something other than being ignorant. i garuntee it is worth it. Seems that's why everyone thinks that *nix is hard. but it's actually quite simple to understand after reading a little.

Besides, i bet i get more fps playing counterstrike in freebsd than you do in winblowsxp.

i'm stoned and done.

Yer first problem is that Biostar POS mainboard. I spent $800 ordering 3 mainboard bundles to build some systems for customers, along with some misc stuff - ram, and such. All 3 Biostar mainboards were fucked up. And when I tried to send em back for a refund, they sent it back to me and said that they were damaged due to improper installation. Pfffffffft!! Went out and bought 3 MSI mainboards, NO PROBLEM! Screw Biostar!!!! I'm out $800 for 3 shitty mainboards, but at least now I know better..

it's not a problem with the MB, it's a good MB, DDR 400 and was fairly cheap. it's not a bad motherboard. yeah i know the brand isn't the greatest, but i like the stats on it, and it looks nice
