nod, I got 2 twelves Warhawk. The box is 4ftx2ftx2ft. You have the amps under the sub box? Is there any air flow? Last time I installed an amp without air flow, it blew on me within two hours.

i think davids car is a bad omen anyways. i had shit stolen out of that car when i had it.

yeah, bolt that bitch down man. i had a system stolen outa my old civic. ever since then i bolt them down.



get these from home depot:



lock hasp's for the sides of the box: SKU# 241627

security cable (these dont rattle and are harder to cut): SKU# 403741



you can search for those sku's at http://www.homedepot.com to see what i'm talking about



put the hasps on both sides of the box and then use either one or two of those cables to secure them to the car.

I got 2 amps under my sub box.... 1 for the subs and 1 for my fronts.... the 1 for the subs doesn't even get anywhere near hot enough to hurt things.... if it got hot.... my subs would be trashed already... (MTX Thunder 500D amp) actual output is around 900watts @ 2 ohms... my other amp is a 200watt Crunch amp... does its job quite well.... and it almost never gets hot.

Come to find out, my mom yelled at the insurance people..so they decided to call Enterprise, cancel my car rental, and refuse to pay for the speakers..



So basically, I no longer have a sound system in my car..



I could give a fawk less about anything I own right now, those speakers/amp were the only thing I was worried about...now I got nothin..sigh

Dav - it wasn't mom's fault they aren't paying for the speakers. Regardless of what shape the speakers were in from the accident, it's now considered theft, not damage.

Insurance companies can't just say "Were not gonna pay for your stuff, cause you yelled at us." It don't work that way grin. Theres gotta be another reason (like queen bitch said).

Though, I think I'm getting a 2000 Nissan Sentra GXE...it's custom though, came with a lot of add-on shit. Good shape, only 26k miles..warranty in for another 2 years or until 60k miles..and I found out that buying NiSMO parts for engine mods in no way shape or form disrupts the warranty, as well as buying stillen parts.



That's nice, now I can mod my car all I want and still be under waranty...won't be cheap, and won't happen anytime soon..but it's there for when I can:)

They assign values to everything lost in a theft and those values calculate depreciation. Dunno if that's relevant to anything, just thought I'd reiterate that point. Also, screw insurance companies, they are miserable, rotten, bottom feeders.

I know..but my mom apparently went OFF on the insurance people, Mary would know better. I think if she wouldn't have yelled all like that and maybe worded it kewler, there woulda been a better chance of getting them to pay for it.
