Not when you use the term "monkey-music" -- this can only be construed as a racial comment. Don't give us any of that "learn how to read" shit either. You know what you meant, and if you didn't, it's not hard to edit it.

Sides, if you had a problem with my opinion, I think there would've been a better way to tell me than "Shut up". There was nothing blatantly offensive in my post, so frankly I don't see what exactly was uncalled for.

Much better, but yes, it was uncalled for to use something so often used as a racial slur. You didn't realize, so it's not a big deal. She had every right to tell you to shut up. It's all gravy now tho.

I disagree. Frankly, someone I've never spoken to in my life telling me to shut up IS uncalled for. Like I said before, there was a better way to say something about it than that. But again, it wasn't my intention to offend. Think I'll cut down on my posts as I seem to be rubbing folks the wrong way.

You are on a message board. Someone telling you to shut up is not uncalled for. This isn't face to face, and we all reserve the right to disrespect you or anyone we please in any way we want. Especially the females, they can tell anyone to shut up, as often as they want. They rule.

Using any form of racially derogatory comment is UNACCEPTABLE. Even if it's meant in gist. Have a little more common sense and tact instead of showing how incredibly ignorant you are.
