I had a problem with WinXp pro and my dvd. I bought a brand new panasonic, didn't work for shit...as a matter of a fact it didn't work at all, took it back, they gave me another it didn't work either, i stuck my old ass samsung 4x dvd drive back in and bam it works just freakin dandy
