Smoking a joint does not make your judgement lapse so much that you'd not use a condom, or even have sex if you would have it sober too...that one commercial just irked me...much like all the anti-marijuana commercials i've been seeing lately.

The Truth commercials aren't stupid, they're good.
The commercials about weed are just dumb, and in the words of my infamous friend Voodoo they're "so full of shit that [they] squeak."
The pregnancy one..ok..so how come everyone says weed lowers sperm count? Lie.
The drive-thru one..ok, so how often do you see that? If you worked at a fast-food restaraunt w/ a drive-thru and saw a car w/ those kids in it like that every day you worked, obviously at the same time because the ligthing was the same, would you call the cops? I would. Also, if this were a real case scenario, those kids would have seen that girl. 9 out of 10 people who smoke weed are more paranoid than anyone you've ever seen in your life while they're driving. Lie.
Oh..and the "this is the bag that sally bought from jim who gets hooked up by jose who deals drugs and shot this girl" commercials are such BULLSHIT. 90% of the weed here comes from BRITISH COLUMBIA, not columbia. Columbia is crack cocaine, etc. BullSHIZZLE.
Anyone with have a sense of what these commercials is insisting would see these things blatantly. They can't come up with valid arguements to marijuana. If all these bad things are true there would be WAY more countries with marijuana outlawed.

I think the problem is, people aren't looking objectively at it. I've smoked weed and to say it doesn't impair judgement is blasphemous. It slows you down. Dispute it all you want. I've seen it too many times. It also makes you absent-minded. Deny it all you want. I've seen it more than enough. Drug dealers are stereotyped unfairly by that commercial. That's the only one that doesn't have any reltaivity to the truth.

Objectively...marijuana affects each person differently..it can be a stimulant, or a depressant...it's all based on the users chemical make-up. In the same sense, everyone knows how Ritalin calms hyperactive children (Ritalin being similar to speed, which is a stimulant).
It may cause absent-mindedness...it depends on the amount of use, frequency and strength. It can impair judgement, all based on the same factors. Some people will claim hightened awareness, and although it may seem that way to the user, 3rd-party perspective may prove otherwise (I've never truly asked someone is I seemed sluggish or stupid when smoking weed, because I never feel that way...likely much like most other users).

british columbia is canada..=P and i've heard over and over again that the majority comes from BC..i could be wrong, that's just what i hear mostly.

if i smoke and i'm up and moving around, going out and doing things, i'm not the least bit sluggish..if i'm just sittin at home and i smoke, i'm sluggish as shit..i just chill playin mah xbox, cuz video games = the shizzle when yer high..but we arent talkin about that..heh.
