Know what's funny? You people say "Rose is a cool game!" and want to make a big deal out of it...how many of you play the game? Just Speed?

You'll be lying..you people "like" every wg game there is and say you play them. When they're installed, how often are they played? Never? Oh yeah..that's right.

but rose IMO is better than majormud, if enough peopel would play it, they would realize that. i mean this version is from like 98 or 99 and it's better than the current majormud, it's crazy. it's got better concepts and better fighting style, etc.

and i was talking like that cuz that bitch never talks to me anymore, and i want to annoy him because of it so he would talk to me.

I'd agree that Rose:COG is better than MajorMud, altho Rose does have some problems. Rose's exp tables have some crazy jumps starting at level 18+. After around 23+ it's extremely difficult to play by hand... which is sucky... it goes from being a totally non-script game levels 1-17 and then it starts being a real chore to play by hand :(



Plus, there's only really *one* playable version of The Rose and I forget which one it is. Older versions had the stat bug problem; then there was one really great, non-buggy version; and then metro fired the 2 developers, had some other shmoes working on it who messed it up and made monsters worth 1/4th the exp they used to be worth, in the last release/patch or two that metro put out. uggg.

the latest release is version 2.15 for WG 3.*, that's what i have on my board



you can download the 2.0 and upgrade it to 2.1 and upgrade it to 2.15 all on their download site

The last versions that metro put out were utter crap... they messed up quite a few things and also made it take longer to level...



If you post the release notes from the last few versions, I can probably figure out which of those versions is the good one... trust me, its a lot better than the other versions, metro really crappified the game after firing the developers!
