Anyone have the release notes? I don't feel like downloading it at work.

basically, all it does is update monsters, items, and paths.

oh, that's not really a big deal then. I don't use any of those anyway.

Heh..big deal for me..my mega doesn't like "added" items..after so long, it flips out and starts acting fucked up, and i have to end up reinstalling.. heh.

i was just curious as to where this update came from?



has someone figured out the format of the megamud databases, did someone get the source code, did someone just sit there and update manually (hah!)???

allegedly Merlin put this update out. I didn't see it posted on the megamud.net site last night though, so who knows.

Megamud.net isn't Merlin's site, it's a site that that dude Spawn runs to keep up with Megamud updates. If you check the track record for the site, you can see that there is shitty update times and Spawn probably stopped updating it completely when 1.03s came out.

Right. Spawn stopped updating megamud.net awhile ago when he got out of mud.



Merlin has been doing these updates with me and Erekose. He's got another one coming with code changes soon. This one was just a small database change and is basically a beta version :) I'll keep you guys posted, there should be another build done today or tomorrow sometime with fixes etc.
